Themed spaces
and theming for facilities
We design and create themed decorations and entire areas for water parks, hotels, theme parks, shops and exhibitions: from a single striking entrance feature to a whole space following one theme. We work from our own concepts or the client's design – with workshop production and brief installation.

Themes
we have created
A theme can grow from a place, a brand or the story a facility wants to tell. We translate each into rocks, planting, sculpture and painting – so it is visible from afar and convincing up close.

Tropical jungle
Relief columns, green walls and temple stone textures – in a water park and on a trade fair stand.
Jungle Quest at Suntago
Mountain trail
Tall rocks, planting and paths that show an outdoor product in its natural setting.
Display in Paris
Wild West and adventure
Rock walls, a mural and props within a single scene – even in a small room for children.

A feature, an area
or an entire facility?
Theming need not cover an entire building. We tailor the scope to the space, budget and what should make the greatest impression on guests.
Installation in an operating facility – checklist| Scope | One feature | A themed area | An entire facility following one theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it includes | entrance gateway, photo spot, wall or sculpture | entrance, attraction or area with several decorations | several areas connected by theme, colour and detail |
| Example | Chopard watch display | Jungle Quest at Suntago | further areas developed in stages |
| Concept | direction and choice of form | concept with a visualisation | overall concept and phased plan |
| Installation | hours or one night | a few working days | in stages, area by area |
| When to choose | quick results on a small budget | an attraction intended as a signature feature | a new development or complete redevelopment |

What we consider
in theming?
A theme works when it is coherent from a distance and detailed up close – and when the area continues to serve guests and staff well.
How we work in the workshopDetail within reach
A column relief or rock texture matters where a guest walks right past it. We model and paint these surfaces by hand.
Proportions and architecture
A tall column and a screen surround have different scales but develop the same theme. We select forms to suit the space and viewing distance.
The area's function
We plan passageways, seating, photo spots, staff access and cleaning alongside the decoration.
Phased development
We establish the theme so that further areas can be added later without changing the whole.
Prefabrication
More work at our workshop.
Less time at your venue.
Rocks, grottos and scenery elements are made in our workshop in Wołów. We deliver finished, painted elements to the venue and assemble them on site. The area stays closed for as little time as possible, while dust and noise remain in the workshop.
GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) weighs around 6 kg/m² and resists water, moisture and UV rays. Where the location requires it, we work entirely at the client's site, as at a campsite in the Alps.

Theming
step by step.
An idea becomes a defined scope: which elements will be made, what they will look like and how long installation will take.
How we work- 01
Space and effect
The theme, development stage, photographs or plans, and how the decorations should contribute to the surroundings.
- 02
Concept and quote
A collection of inspiration, a 3D visualisation or photomontage – or a review of your design – with a cost and schedule.
- 03
Production in the workshop
Moulds, GRP, sculpture and hand-applied colour. We divide large elements for transport.
- 04
Installation and finishing
Installation within the agreed window and refinement of the joints on site, under the final lighting.
Start by describing the space
Photographs or plans, a theme or inspiration, approximate scale and planned date. You do not need to establish every decoration's dimensions before the first conversation.
What is facility theming?
Theming translates a single theme – jungle, mountains, adventure, the history of a place or a brand – into a space used by guests. It comprises three-dimensional forms (rocks, grottos, trees, sculptures), painted backgrounds, planting, lighting and details. Well-planned theming makes a facility recognisable, encourages guests to take photographs and makes them more likely to return.
How do you choose a theme?
- Location – a mountain hotel naturally suggests rock and timber, a water park the tropics, and a theme park adventure.
- Guests – families with children, tourists, shop customers; each responds to the theme differently.
- Architecture – hall height, columns, mezzanines and windows determine the scale of the forms.
- Development – choose a theme that can be extended to further areas.
From concept to finished area
A theming concept may include a collection of inspiration, materials and colours, a 3D visualisation or a photomontage. We use these to agree forms, textures and division into elements. Our design scope covers artistic and thematic creation – we coordinate structures, services and construction documentation with those responsible for these parts of the development. We also work to existing designs: the scenery at Jungle Quest at Suntago was made to the client's design.
How much does theming cost?
There is no fixed price, because theming may mean one sculpture or an entire facility. Costs depend on:
- the number and size of decorations and level of detail,
- the concept scope – direction, visualisation or a plan for the entire facility,
- additional functions: water, lighting, planting, photo spots,
- transport and installation conditions, e.g. night work in an operating facility.
Theming in an operating facility
We do most of the work in our workshop in Wołów and install finished elements on site. At Suntago, after approx. 4 weeks of preparation, we worked on site for 5 working days. We describe work organisation in detail in our checklist Installing decorations in an operating facility.
Where do we create themed spaces?
Most often in water parks and pool areas, hotels and spas, theme parks and zoos and in shops, venues and trade fairs. Elements we use to build the theme include artificial rocks, grottoes, artificial trees and murals.
Do I need a finished design?+
We can start with a description of the space, inspiration and the intended character of the area. If you have a completed design, it will form the basis for discussing production. We agree the scope and terms for developing a new concept individually.
What does concept development include?+
It involves work on the theme, forms, textures and colours of the decorations. Depending on the project, we use inspiration collections, 3D visualisations or photomontages. The scope covers the artistic and thematic concept. Structural, services and construction documentation is coordinated with those responsible for these parts of the development.
Can we start with one area?+
Yes. We can discuss an entrance, individual attraction, selected interior or set of decorations. If later expansion is planned, mention it when agreeing the theme and design direction.
When will we know the cost and possible date?+
Once we understand the scale, complexity of forms, expected finish and transport and installation conditions. We use these to establish a quote and possible schedule. Please give your planned completion date when you first contact us.
Can existing theming be extended or refreshed?+
Yes. We can develop further areas, add to an arrangement and discuss repair or renovation. We need information about the existing decorations, their condition and the intended effect. We agree the scope individually.
Do you undertake projects outside Poland?+
Yes. We complete projects in Poland and other European countries. We take the location into account when planning transport, organising installation and preparing a quote.
What character should
your space have?
Please describe the space and theme or attach inspiration. We will respond with questions and a proposed direction, or a production quote if you have a completed design.
Send a finished design or simply an idea.
The initial conversation carries no obligation.
