Jungle Quest at Suntago:
creating scenery.

Decorative columns, geometric reliefs and rock surrounds for the Jungle Quest stations. At Suntago, we made scenery to the client's finished design. We prepared elements in our workshop, transported them to the water park and installed them on site.

Our work on this project: Execution of the supplied design: preparation of silicone moulds, production of GRP decorations, transport and installation.

One theme.
Columns, reliefs and screens.

Tall columns introduce the theme on a large scale. At the Jungle Quest stations, it returns in reliefs and screen surrounds. The same language of forms connects elements viewed from a distance with details approached more closely.

We received the concept from the client. Our task was to make the decorations and fit them to the final space. If you have a completed design, we can move on to agreeing forms, finishes and the installation method.

Detail prepared
for repeated production.

The relief's edges, recesses and stone texture determine how the column looks up close. Silicone moulds allowed us to transfer the developed detail to successive GRP elements.

The recurring motif keeps the scenery consistent. The finish of individual surfaces is equally important: it reveals the depth of the sculpting and emphasises its divisions.

Four weeks of preparation.
Five days at the facility.

Workshop production took around four weeks. A five-person team worked on the project. We transported the prepared elements to Suntago, where the work took five working days.

Much of the work took place before we arrived at the water park. If access to your area is limited, it is worth accounting for this when planning decoration divisions and the installation schedule.

Do you execute completed designs by other authors?

Yes. We made the Jungle Quest scenery to a design supplied by the client. We begin by discussing forms, texture, colour, dimensions and installation conditions to turn the concept into finished decorations.

What are the benefits of preparing elements in the workshop?

It allows much of the work to be completed before arrival at the facility. For this project, we prepared moulds and GRP decorations in the workshop, then delivered them to the water park and installed them.

How long did Jungle Quest take to make?

Around four weeks of workshop production and five working days at the facility. Five people worked on the project. We will agree the deadline for your scenery based on its size, number of forms and access to the installation area.

What determines the quotation?

The size and number of elements, complexity of their shape, texture and finish, and the scope of on-site work. We discuss transport and installation alongside the project. Please send dimensions, photographs of the space and your planned date so we can define the specific scope.

What should I send to get started?

Please send a design or inspiration, photographs of the area and the planned date. We will discuss the decoration's shape, workshop preparation, and transport and installation at your facility.
