Hellabrunn Zoo
Realisation on the Hellabrunn Zoo site in Munich
Our company had the pleasure of participating in the realisation of a complex project at the Hellabrunn Zoo site in Munich. The work included the creation of a monumental artificial rock structure with a total area of more than 2,000 m². This project required not only a high degree of precision, but also advanced skills in creating naturalistic elements that fit perfectly into the surroundings and serve both aesthetics and functionality.

Scope of work
1 Covering the enclosure for seals and polar foxes:
The main task was to construct artificial rocks throughout the seal and polar fox enclosure. These structures had to meet a number of requirements, both in terms of strength and safety for the animals. The rocks were designed to resemble natural rock formations, which further enhanced the aesthetics of the entire enclosure.
2 Enclosing the technical buildings and cages:
An important part of the implementation was the encasing of the technical buildings and cages with rocks. This work required precision and attention to detail to ensure that the artificial rocks blended in perfectly with the existing infrastructure, while ensuring that the facilities were fully functional.

3 Precision finishing of the structural elements:
Another important step was the precise finishing of the staff doors, windows and animal exit gates. Each of these elements had to be perfectly integrated into the surrounding rocks, which required not only a sophisticated technique but also an artistic approach.
4 Masking the technical infrastructure:
In order to maintain the aesthetics of the park, we prepared camouflage rocks that were used to cover various technical infrastructure, such as sewer manholes and electricity boxes. This effectively concealed the park’s infrastructure and gave the whole a more natural look.
5. construction of fencing elements:
The realisation also included the fabrication of the rocks that are part of the enclosure’s fencing, which have been precisely finished and perfectly matched to the previously installed glass. These elements not only have a protective function, but also visually enrich the entire structure.

The importance of realisation
The realisation of the project at Hellabrunn Zoo is the crowning proof of the high quality of our work and our excellent ability to use artificial rocks in monumental structures. This project is an example of how our technology and skills can be applied to create naturalistic, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces in large-scale facilities.
