For main contractors
Decoration subcontractor
within your schedule.
We make artificial rocks, caves and scenery as a subcontractor on hotel, pool and leisure projects. We prepare elements in our workshop and come to site within the agreed installation window – with finished, painted elements.

- 200 m²
- a cave in a water park as a subcontractor
- 5 days
- work at Suntago after approx. 4 weeks in the workshop
- 8 days
- on site – water zone in the Alps
- approx. 6 kg/m²
- usually without structural reinforcement
Our scope
What we take on
on one another.
On site, we handle decoration – from production to finishing. We coordinate pool systems, the building structure and services with the companies responsible for them.
- 01
Off-site production
Moulds, castings, sculpting and colour are completed in the workshop, without dust, noise or occupying the building site.
- 02
Transport and installation
Our own transport and installation team, including abroad and in areas with difficult access.
- 03
Interfaces with other trades
We coordinate penetrations, access panels, lights and spillways with installers and pool technology contractors before production.
- 04
On-site finishing
Concealing joints, refining colour and tidying the area after our work.
Site coordination
What do we agree
with the site manager?
We finalise these arrangements before production so that installation does not block other teams.
Substrate and fixings
Cladding weighs approx. 6 kg/m², so reinforcement is usually unnecessary. We agree the fixing method to masonry or a substructure before production.
Large-form structures
We clad a steel or reinforced-concrete structure built by another team or agree it within our own scope.
Installation window
We work backwards from the handover date to plan the start, duration and access hours.
Utilities and access
Electricity, water, scaffolding or a lift, and the route for bringing elements in.
Trade sequence
Who works before and after us: waterproofing, services, flooring, greenery.
Documents
Material and finish information for as-built documentation, as on the AIDAvita project.
Prefabrication
Installation measured
in days and nights.
We finish most of the work in the workshop before arriving on site. This prevents the decoration from delaying the area's handover.
Subcontracting example
200 m² cave
in a water park.
We developed the customer's idea into a rock passage with a sculpted skull at the children's water-area entrance. As a subcontractor, we clad the steel passage structure with rock and fitted the decoration to the existing construction.

Ask your own question Do you work as a subcontractor?+
Yes, this is a common working model. We made the approx. 200 m² cave in a German water park as a subcontractor, and at Suntago we produced scenery to the customer's design.
Who is responsible for the supporting structure?+
For large forms, we clad a steel or reinforced-concrete structure built by another team or include it in our agreed scope. Cladding weighs approx. 6 kg/m², so smaller decorations usually need no substrate reinforcement.
How soon can you start on site?+
Timing depends on workshop production scope. We plan backwards from handover so that installation fits the agreed window.
Can you work in stages or at night?+
Yes. Prefabrication lets us divide installation into stages and fit around other teams or venue operation.
Do you provide material information?+
Yes. We provide material and finish information for as-built documentation; the AIDAvita project required technical and material documentation.
Do you install abroad?+
Yes – in Germany, France, Switzerland, Ireland and Italy. Our own team handles transport and installation.
