StoneDeco project · Clothing shop in Germany
Decorative cacti
for a clothing shop.
Cacti 2.5–3 metres tall were intended to fill the space of a German clothing shop. The client's designer supplied the design. We sculpted the forms in polystyrene, covered them with fibre, applied a sandy texture and organised transport.

Our work on this project: Execution to the client's design: sculpting polystyrene, covering with fibre, finishing with a sandy texture and transport to Germany.
Cacti taller
than a person.
A height of 2.5 to 3 metres gave the cacti the scale needed for the shop arrangement. Each form's branches and proportions followed the client's designer's design.
Such a large decoration is visible from different sides. That is why its form, surface and position in the space should be assessed together before the finished elements are made.

Details refined
through collaboration.
During production, the client changed many small details. We made adjustments to bring the final appearance in line with their expectations. This stage extended preparation of the decorations.
After the adjustments, the decorations met the client's expectations. For your order, it is worth agreeing from the outset how to approve the form and finish and how changes affect the schedule.

Do you work to a designer's design?
Yes. The design for these cacti came from the client's designer. We made the three-dimensional forms, their coating and finish.
Can details be changed during production?
For this project, we made detail changes requested by the client. They affected preparation time. For the next commission, we jointly agree the approval process, scope of changes and their effect on the deadline.
Do you deliver finished decorations abroad?
Yes. We handled transport of the cacti to the German shop. We agree the delivery location and transport method with the elements' dimensions in mind.
What determines the quotation?
The size and number of elements, complexity of their shape, texture and finish, and the scope of on-site work. We discuss transport and installation alongside the project. Please send dimensions, photographs of the space and your planned date so we can define the specific scope.
What should I send to get started?
Please send a design or inspiration, decoration dimensions and photographs of the location. We will discuss form, surface texture, detail approval and delivery of the finished elements.
