Production

Ready-made cascade
or bespoke?

A smaller cascade or stream can be assembled from our ready-made elements. We design and make larger compositions to measure.

How we work in the workshop
  • Ready-made elements

Cascades, stream sections and ponds are available from stock. We help select their number and sequence.

  • Bespoke cascade

For a greater ground slope, a wall or an unusually shaped pond, we make a cascade tailored to the garden.

  • Pump and water circulation

We establish the capacity, pump position and access to make the cascade easy to service.

  • The garden season

We discuss preparing the water system for winter and caring for the rocks after the season.

Ordering step by step

Garden cascade
in four steps.

You can assemble a smaller cascade from ready-made elements; we make larger ones to measure.

How we work
  1. Photograph and dimensions

Please send a photograph of the space, pond dimensions and ground slope.

  2. Selecting elements

We advise which elements to choose – or design a bespoke cascade.

  3. Dispatch or production

We dispatch ready-made elements and produce bespoke cascades in our workshop.

  4. Installation

By you, using the guide below, or by us for bespoke cascades.

How do you choose a cascade for a pond?

  • Height – the cascade should start above the water level, on a slope or raised mound. The greater the drop, the more pronounced the sound of water.
  • Spillway width – a wider bowl creates a calm sheet of water; a narrower one creates a distinct stream. The required pump capacity also depends on the width.
  • Proportions – the cascade should not dominate the pond. Several low steps work better with a small pond than one high waterfall.
  • View – position the cascade where it can be seen from the terrace or the window where you spend most time.

Installing a cascade step by step

  1. Location – mark out the watercourse from the highest point to the pond.
  2. Base – shape and compact the ground so that each element rests securely, tilting slightly towards the pond.
  3. Elements – lay them from the bottom up, with each higher bowl overlapping the one below so water cannot escape at the sides.
  4. Pump and hose – the pump sits in the pond, with the hose running through the ground or between stones to the highest element.
  5. Test – once the circulation is running, adjust the elements before surrounding them with soil.
  6. Finish – plant around the edges and add stones so the elements' edges disappear into the garden.
A practical exampleWith our help, a customer from Silesia selected the elements and bends, then assembled 14-metre stream made from ready-made elements.

A cascade in a wall, beside a hot tub or in a facility

When water is to flow from a wall, fall from a great height or connect with a pool or hot tub, we design a bespoke cascade. Examples: rock wall with a waterfall in Dortmund and garden with a hot tub and waterfalls near Kraków. More about large water features on our page about waterfalls and fountains.

Garden cascade care

GRP elements do not crumble or absorb water. During the season, simply clean the pump filter and remove leaves from the bowls. Before winter, remove the pump from the pond and drain the upper bowls. Remove algae from the rock with a soft brush.

Ask your own question
Where can I buy a ready-made garden cascade?

You can order ready-made cascades, stream sections and ponds from us via the form or by telephone. If you are unsure which elements to choose, simply send a photograph of the space and dimensions – we will help select their number and sequence.

How do I choose a pump for a cascade?

Pump capacity depends on the spillway width, the height the water must be lifted and the hose length. When you buy ready-made elements, we advise what capacity to look for; for a bespoke cascade, we plan the pump together with the form.

Can a cascade be added to an existing pond?

Usually, yes. We need photographs, pond dimensions and information about the edge and installations. We use these to select a cascade or stream that can be laid on a slope beside the pond.

Can I assemble a cascade myself?

The ready-made elements are prepared for self-installation. A customer from Silesia used them to assemble a 14-metre stream – the elements overlap, without screws or filling. We install bespoke cascades ourselves.

How much does a garden cascade cost?

Ready-made elements cost from 255 zł – indicative prices are given in price list. The cost of a bespoke cascade depends on its height, width, stream length, number of steps and installation scope. We prepare a quote from garden photographs and approximate dimensions.

What should I do with the cascade in winter?

A GRP cascade withstands frost. Before winter, switch off and remove the pump; it is also worth draining the upper bowls to prevent water freezing in them. In spring, simply wash the elements and restart the circulation.
