StoneDeco project · Water park in Germany

Cave and skull
in a water park.

The passage to the children's water zone took the form of a cave. Based on the client's idea, we designed and made around 200 m² of rocks and a distinctive skull. We worked as a subcontractor at a German water park.

Our work on this project: Design and construction of the cave and skull based on the client's idea. Participation as a subcontractor.

The passage to the attraction
became a cave.

Instead of an ordinary approach to the water playground, an extensive rock form was created. Sculpted walls and a vault form the cave interior, while the irregular shape gives the entrance character from outside.

The client supplied the idea. We designed and made the decoration. Your project can start in the same way: with a theme and information about where it is to be created.

A skull as
the main motif.

We also made a large decorative skull beside the cave. Its distinctive form complements the theme of the whole arrangement. Its shape followed the idea for this zone's theme.

It was also intended to function as a waterfall. For a similar element, it is worth discussing decorative shape and the planned use of water together before construction begins.

Two stages of the same project: preparing the structure and its rock surround. The photographs show work progressing from different perspectives.

Is an idea enough, without a finished design?

For this project, the client provided the idea, and we designed and made the decorations. A theme, photographs of the location, dimensions and a description of the passage's function are useful starting points.

Can you work as a subcontractor?

Yes. We worked as a subcontractor on this cave. Our scope covered designing and making the rock decorations and skull. We agree the scope of cooperation and interfaces with other contractors' work for each project.

Can the decoration include a water feature?

The skull in this project was planned as an element with a waterfall function. If you are considering a similar solution, let us discuss its shape and intended operation together with the scope of the water installation.

What determines the quotation?

The size and number of elements, complexity of their shape, texture and finish, and the scope of on-site work. We discuss transport and installation alongside the project. Please send dimensions, photographs of the space and your planned date so we can define the specific scope.

What should I send to get started?

Please describe the passage's theme and purpose and send photographs and dimensions. We will discuss the cave's shape, decorative details and our scope within the overall project.

Let's give your passage
its own character.

Please describe the passage's theme and purpose and send photographs and dimensions. We will discuss the cave's shape, decorative details and our scope within the overall project.
